Microbiome analysis – clarity for your gut

Your gut feeling is no coincidence.

Digestive problems, exhaustion, or skin irritations are often caused by an imbalanced intestinal flora. A microbiome analysis helps to get to the root cause.

What exactly is the microbiome?

The gut is home to billions of bacteria, fungi, and even viruses—a finely balanced ecosystem that communicates with the immune system, metabolism, and even the brain. Some microbes produce vitamins or short-chain fatty acids, others regulate inflammation or strengthen the immune system. Still others are more likely to cause harm.

When the balance shifts, it is noticeable – sometimes quietly, sometimes loudly.

Our treatment approach

Regaining balance

We rely on a multi-stage therapy plan that is tailored to you:

  • analysis

Through a stool test (PCR method) of intestinal bacteria, we can determine the composition of the microbiome and determine the presence of beneficial and pathogenic bacteria. Depending on your medical history, various individual parameters are added.

  • "Intestinal cleansing"

The first step is often the targeted eradication (elimination) of harmful bacteria. We achieve this through the use of targeted herbal therapy or conventional antibiotics. At the same time, binding agents are often used.

  • Probiotics and prebiotics

Helpful bacteria in the form of probiotics and ‘food’ for our microbiome (prebiotics) are used in a targeted manner and at the right time.

  • Gut-friendly diet

In order to maintain a healthy microbiome in the long term, we work with you to plan a targeted change or adjustment to your diet. After all, a gut-friendly diet is what will make us resilient in the future.

  • Supporting measures

The gut not only needs sufficient nutrients, but also stress management, balanced hormones and accompanying measures such as acupuncture, osteopathy and much more. Benefit from our network.

  • Stay tuned

Treating long-standing complaints often takes time and someone who sticks with it. We provide you with individual support – for as long as necessary.

Important information about microbiome analysis

Questions & Answers

A targeted analysis of your intestinal tract provides insight into your symptoms. Sometimes the balance is significantly tilted in one direction. We help you restore this equilibrium with our personalized therapy. This can positively influence not only intestinal problems but also more diseases than previously thought.

For a microbiome analysis, we will provide you with a test kit with detailed instructions. Only a tiny amount of stool is required, as the bacterial analysis is performed in the laboratory using PCR.

Our modern life quickly throws the intestines out of balance:

  • Unhealthy diet (too little fiber, too much sugar & fat)

  • Medications such as antibiotics or acid blockers

  • Stress, lack of sleep, environmental toxins

  • Lack of exercise or excessive exercise

Such "traumas" can break down the protective mucous layer, damage intestinal cells, and create a breeding ground for pathogenic germs. People with an already weakened intestinal environment are particularly affected – in these cases, regeneration often takes months or isn't even possible without support.

Proctological examinations can be billed through health insurance/basic insurance.

Orthopedic consultations can also be billed through basic and supplementary insurance, depending on the length of the consultation. If supplementary insurance is not available, a deductible may apply for some treatments.

.

All other consultations can be covered by supplementary insurance (VVG/complementary medicine). If supplementary insurance is not available/does not cover this, the consultation is a self-pay service.

Further diagnostics (microbiome analyses, SIBO tests, special analyses and many infusion therapies) are often self-pay services.

Please bring all relevant health findings such as laboratory data, examinations, diagnosis lists, X-rays or MRI/CT images (conservative orthopedic consultation), presentations at other clinics/practices that could be important for your health record and current concern.

More information about your health and treatment history helps us to get a good overview of you and avoid unnecessary diagnostics.

You will also receive a Health questionnaire, which gives us a good insight. Please bring it with you to your initial consultation or email it to us in advance.

Please bring a current list of your medications and dietary supplements including dosage and supplier You are also welcome to bring the original packaging.
