What is the difference?

Bioidentical hormone therapy – natural balance for your well-being

Bioidentical hormone therapy uses hormones thatare identical in structure to the body's own hormones. This means that they have the same precise effects in the body as our own hormones.

Bioidentical hormones can thus provide targeted support or long-term assistance in many life situations.

Areas of application of bioidentical hormones

Overview

  • Menopause

Hot flashes, sleep disorders, mood swings, weight gain, or exhaustion can significantly impair the quality of life during menopause – but they do not have to be accepted as “fate.”

Bioidentical hormone therapy offers a gentle and natural way to restore hormone balance – individually tailored to your needs.

  • PMS (premenstrual syndrome)

Many women suffer from physical and emotional symptoms in the second half of their cycle: irritability, mood swings, breast tenderness, water retention, or lower abdominal pain. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) can be caused by a hormonal imbalance, particularly between progesterone and estrogen. This is precisely where bioidentical hormone therapy comes in.

  • desire to have children

An imbalance—e.g., progesterone deficiency, estrogen dominance, or hypothyroidism—can reduce the chance of pregnancy without any organic causes. Individually tailored therapy based on detailed hormone analyses (cycle profile, saliva and/or blood tests) can gently support the cycle and thus lead to a better conception.

  • PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome)

Women with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) often suffer from irregular menstruation and an excess of "male" hormones (androgens) – at the expense of progesterone, which can trigger mood swings, sleep disorders, acne, and infertility. Bioidentical hormones can provide targeted support in these situations.

  • Endometriosis

Bioidentical hormones work differently than the pill and can help correct the hormonal imbalances associated with endometriosis—especially estrogen dominance, which is often present. This can alleviate pain. However, a holistic approach is essential.

  • Men's health

Hormones also play a central role in men's health, performance, and quality of life. Hormonal imbalances can manifest themselves in a wide variety of symptoms:
Loss of energy, sleep problems, muscle weakness, weight gain, loss of libido, mood swings or difficulty concentrating are possible signs.
